The School District of Elmbrook’s Board of Education recently approved the appointment of Lindsay Wurster as the new Associate Principal at Wisconsin Hills Middle School. She will assume the role following the transition of current Associate Principal Brandon Buchmann to Principal of Swanson Elementary School.

Ms. Wurster was selected after a highly competitive recruitment process that attracted over 50 applicants. Ms. Wurster brings a wealth of experience to the position. She has served as Assistant Principal at Greenfield High School for the past three years. Prior to that, she spent two years as Dean of Students in the School District of Waukesha. Her career in education also includes five years teaching Third Grade and six years as a Reading and Math Interventionist at the elementary level.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Middle Level Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She later received a Master’s degree in Education-Curriculum & Instruction from Carroll University, where she also completed the Educational Leadership program and earned her Principal and Director of Instruction licenses.

Ms. Wurster will officially begin her new role on July 1.
