I would like to nominate Ms. Otis for the Martino Merit Award! She comes up with creative lessons so students have fun learning new material, and she sees the academic potential in students and works hard to help them reach their goals. For example, me and a few other students were ready for the next level and already knew everything we needed to know for the 7th grade standard. Ms. Otis went out of her way and spent extra time outside of her required work day to get us set up with the pre-algebra workbook, and online textbook so we could work ahead. This gesture is just one of the ways Ms. Otis is an amazing teacher.
